Confirmed Service Customer
I had a 10:30 appointment for an oil change. It was almost 5 hours before they finished. Didn't think it should have taken so long.

I took my vehicle in for a routine oil change, then was given a quote for $3000 for work that was needed for my vehicle. After closely reviewing the recommendations, they were all for vehicles with a mileage of 138,000 miles. My vehicle only has 50,000. And after being offered the complementary free wash, my car still came back dirty.

I arrived at 10:45 for an 11:00 appointment, checked in and was told to go make myself comfortable. At 11:45 got up to walk around and to my surprise my Canyon was still at the service entrance. When I received my bill I questioned a charge of $141.78. I was told it was for 3 quarts of differential oil. Most auto parts stores charge $8:00 a quart. Sounds like price gouging!

The oil change and tire rotation service was excellent. The dealership washed my vehicle without my concent. I had just had my car washed and tires dressed but they ruined that. I had requested that someone clean the windows on the inside because they were smudged however they only did the front windshield and made it worse. It looked like they just took a "vey wet" rag and wiped it so when it dried you could see the water ripples etc. I know you are not a detailer but come on. I was highly disappointed.

This was a follow up to having routine work done 2 weeks ago. I sat in the waiting area for 1.5 hours for oil change, inspection and rotate tires. I go to check on my car and see it outside, so I go to check out. Clerk did not know it was outside and learned you were out of stock on air filters a regular item for a car I bought there. It then took me another 15 minutes to check out. On Monday I was pressed for time, asked just do the Air filter. But i waited an extra 20 minutes because they decided to wash the car (after I had said no). I see the poor communication between the desk and mechanic. I will stay with Yates and hope this was a one off

I was extremely pleased with the recent service experience at the Yates dealership. The service contact, Ashley, was very friendly and easy to work with, and pointed out to me that it might be a good time to change the fuel filter just a bit early to avoid a future separate service trip, which I certainly appreciated. All in all a very pleasant experience.

One thing I didn’t like is when I checked in Sean automatically told me that my tire would be $50 to fix. I explained when I made the appointment that I had the protection plan and my truck was covered. Then I had to wait like 15min before I got a call to be notified that my truck was good to go to be worked on.

Julio did a g reat job of getting me the type of vechile I wanted. The only problem I have is the paperwork Was loaded on to thumb drive when I got home the drive was empty. Called the next morning was told they would email me the paperwork and call me when it was sent. Still have not recieved the email or the call. 4 days later.
