At Yates Buick GMC, you’re family. That’s something my father Mike Yates instilled in this company when he opened the dealership in 1984. Founded as a truck dealership catering to our agricultural clients, we have since evolved into one of the premier dealerships in the Phoenix metropolitan area. My name is Whitney Yates-Woods. I took over our family-owned operation in 2021 to serve as Dealer Principal, a milestone first for the company and something that isn’t seen often in the automotive industry. As a mother of two, I strive to employ people of all walks of life and aim to hire more women in the male-dominated automotive field.

While I continue to implement the core values my dad instilled in this company nearly four decades ago, I’m also positioning Yates Buick GMC to make a difference in the future. One of the most notable changes is positioning our dealership to be at the forefront of the electric vehicle transition, totally aligned with GM’s pledge to be all-electric by 2035. With more than 15 all-electric models scheduled to be released in the coming years, Yates Buick GMC will continue to keep our customers in the know about these important changes that will significantly impact our environment for the better.
